File Submission

Photographs

Why do my photos look like they have low resolution when I print them out from my Word file?

They look low resoution because they are low resolution. Microsoft Word is not a graphics layout program. Great for word processing, but not for page layout. Any artwork or scans you place in your file, regardless of what the DPI (dots per inch) was prior to insertion, are converted to 72 DPI. No matter what device you use for printing they will always convert to 72 DPI.
